Say No to Junk Mail

Receiving junk mail can be annoying and most is thrown away unread - wasting resources & adding costs.
You can reduce the amount of junk mail received through your door by following the tips given in the full document see :- Link to the full document in the News section of the Parish Council web site

Carbon Footprint
ESCC has reduced its carbon footprint by 14% over the last 3 years.

No-Cold-Calling Zones

The proposal is to designate the whole of Wadhurst as a NCCZ.
People are invited to give their views on the issue. A public consultation will take place from Wednesday 19 December 2007 until Monday 14 January 2008. This will be an opportunity for residents, business people and faith groups to ask questions and give their views to Trading Standards.

People in the Wadhurst area can give their views by contacting Louise Baxter at the County Council's Trading Standards Service on Eastbourne (01323) 418228 or email louise.baxter@
eastsussex.gov.uk. General information about no cold calling zones can be found at www.tsi.org.uk.

Post Bus
Good News - 48 people used it on the first day

Parking
Parking on the pavement in Lower High Street is attracting a number of parking tickets from our PCSO Marc Simmonds. Mobility scooters and Push-chairs must be able to use the pavement.
