WD/2007/2673/F  Laurel House, Best Beech Hill
Change of use from residential to dental practice
No objection.

WD/2007/2931/F  Wesley House, Lower High Street
Rebuild existing rear attached garage and sun room to include new roof dormer and balcony. Provision of detached garage at front of property.
No objection to house alterations but cannot comment on the garage as there was no plan or a specification of its cladding material. Presumably this information is required before the application is registered.

WD/2007/3059/F  Hewlye Farm, Buckland Hill
Single storey side extension.
No objection.

WD/2007/3019/F  Prendoran, George Street.
2 storey block of flats comprising 5 No 2-bed flats for the over 55’s and associated parking and lift access to flats.
Whilst we  welcome the provision of 2 bed flats in principle,we strongly object to the scheme as it stands on the grounds of traffic issues. The parking facilities proposed are quite inadequate for the 5 units proposed as apart from one flat not being provided for, there is no provision for visitors. We are also concerned that the existing trees are unlikely to survive the building operations.

In light of the approval of the previous scheme to which we objected we do not appear to be in a position to object this amendment. However any approval should be subject to a condition to prevent the excavated material being deposited on site
