We are unable to comment as no documentary evidence to support occupation

WD/2007/1551/F The Middle House and Little Cottage, High Street
Change of use from residential/travel agent to offices with training facility.
We regret the loss of yet further residential accommodation when the parish
is desperately short of relatively modest dwellings. We do not agree with
the agent’s claim that the lack of garden supports the argument for a change
oif use as many elderly residents would prefer not to have the burden of
maintaining it. The property is also ideal for an elderly person without
a car, being in the centre of the shopping area. Whilst the agent claims
that parking would not significantly alter the situation it is suggested
that it is more likely that office users would park at the rear of the building
where the occupants of 1 and 2 Church Street and The White House currently
park. Therefore we strongly object to the proposal.
WD/2007/1293/F 7 Buckhurst Place, Buckhurst Lane
Construction of a 40M x 25M all-weather riding arena.
Strongly object as the site lies within an area of countryside outside
any of the defined development boundaries identified within the Wealden Local
Plan where there has been a long established practice of applying countryside
restraint policies. We have not been provided with satisfactory supporting
information to justify the scale and size of this proposal as an exception
to these policies.
The proposed arena would be prominent in the surrounding rural area and
would add to the scattered and sporadic nature of incongruous development
in this attractive rural area in the HWAONB
