PLANNING APPLICATIONS CAN BE VIEWED here - but note the reference number before leaving this page!
WD/2006/3530/F 30 Little Park
Replacement of existing timber frame windows with UPVC windows to match existing
frames.
Strongly object as it is considered that the appearance of the building would be spoilt if all the windows did not match. Also the proportion of the UPVC window frames to glass is visually unsatisfactory.
WD.2007/0052/CAC The Lodge Church Street
Removal of left hand brick pier (looking from outside) and approx. 2 metres
run of wall. Set aside pier cap and good bricks for re-use. Dig out new footing.
Rebuild pier and wall to achieve 3 metre opening between piers.
Cllr. Bell declared a non prejudicial interest and did not take part in the
discussion.
No objection provided that any new brickwork accurately matched the existing
brickwork
WD/2007/0065/F Fairhaven, Turners Green Road
Detached double garage
No objection
WD/2007/0061/F Wayside, Lower High Street.
Part demolition of existing rear extension and construction of new single storey
rear extension with alterations to existing elevation at ground floor level.
No objection.
WD/2006/3193/F High Drive, Jonas Lane
Two storey extension of full floor plan of existing single storey dwelling.
Cllr. Mamlok declared a non prejudicial interest and did not take part in the
discussion.
See previous comments dated 16.12.06.
Strongly object especially in view of the high position of the site and that
the proposal represents a 100% increase in floor area and volume. Extra accommodation
could be provided in a conventional roof space conversion.
WD/2007/0013/F Amberley (formerly Inchincore) Gloucester Road
Conversion of garage into dining room/family room and associated alterations.
No objection.
WD/2006/3566/F Newlands Farm, Dewhurst Lane
Demolition of existing dwelling and erection of replacement dwelling and detached
garage.
The application does not include a block plan indicating the position of the
proposed dwelling and therefore does not comply with the District Council’s
requirements for planning applications. Consequently the Committee are unable
to comment on whether the proposals comply with the local plan policy DC18,
although on the applicant’s own admission the dwelling will not be located on
the site of the existing dwelling but “close” to it. Similarly, without plans
of the existing dwelling it is not possible to assess whether it is of a comparable
size, although the footprint of the proposal appears to be some 300% of that
of the original dwelling and therefore would not comply with the local plan
policy.
Finally, the bulk of the car port is excessive and the roof “storage” area could easily be converted to residential accommodation without planning permission due to the remoteness of the site.
WD/2006/3510/F Buss’s Green Farm, Buss’s Green, Lower Cousley Wood.
Proposed 3 bay garage/barn.
Strongly object and we believe that the District Council’s previous objections
are still valid, the bulk of the building being excessive.
