Resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on Saturday 27 February 2010.

WD/2010/0480/F  Chaffcutters, Washwell Lane
Change of use of workshop to living room.

Cllr Whatmore declared a prejudicial interest and withdrew at 9.30 am and returned at 9.40 am

We support this application as it would result in the building being a much needed relatively affordable dwelling.

WD/2010/0191/F  The Granary, Woods Green
New access and landscaping to the front of the property.

No objection.

WD/2019/0301/LBR  Tapsells, Tapsells Lane
Alterations to first floor cupboard to form en-suite shower room and retention of LED light fittings to staircase.

No objection.

WD/2010/0403/F  Cherry Wood, Fairglen Road
New dormer window, new windows.

No objection.

WD/2019/0472/F  Calcot, Balaclava Lane
Construction of a garden store/workshop in rear garden.

We object on the grounds of possible noise and smell affecting neighbours in view of the applicant's stated intention to use the workshop for boatbuilding. Also we are not persuaded that there would not be future development to convert the building to a dwelling as it would be difficult to monitor it. Although not a planning matter we consider it incumbent upon us to draw attention to the possible difficulty in providing suitable drainage to the toilet.

WD/2010/0440/FE  Windmill Farm, Windmill Lane
Extension of time of WD/23007/0461/F.

No objection.

WD/2010/0417/LB  Hillside Cottage, High Street
To remove the one remaining tie beam in the roof space.

In the absence of any documentary evidence that the roof structure will remain stable, we must object to the application  We also draw attention to the fact that under WD/2009/1556/F an application was made for 2 dormers in the rear elevation, but the current attic and roof plans appear to indicate roof lights for which we have not seen any application.

WD/20100410/F & 0416/LB  Little Pell Farm, Blacksmiths Lane
Loft conversion (used historically) reconfiguration of dressing room to provide family bathroom and alterations to external canopy to create a new porch.

The loft conversion is acceptable but it is considered that the length of the proposed porch is excessive and out of proportion and therefore unacceptable for a listed building. It is also pointed out that the elevations are inaccurate in that top of the bracketed roof canopy height on the SE elevation is lower than that on the SW elevation.
We are also concerned that the size of the fire escape rooflight appears to be excessive. ___________________________________________________________________________
