THE FOREST - WAR AND
CONFLICT
Few areas can have the association with things military over such as sustained
period of time as Ashdown Forest. For 2000 years it has been home to armies,
a site for weapons manufacture and a place of testament to conflict and threat,
at local, national and international level. This exhibition, containing documents
and artifacts, is a fascinating review of this aspect of Forest history.
The exhibition is open during normal Information Barn hours:
Weekends, Bank
Holidays (excluding Christmas and Boxing Day) and Half Term Holidays 11:00 -
17:00
Weekdays 1 April to 30 September only
14:00 - 17:00
for more information call 01342-823583
(A free exhibition - but donations very welcome)
