The Society has telescopes available for members to borrow for a month at a time - to give you a feel for what a particular design of telescope can do and to help you decide whether you want to buy an instrument for yourself.

They are straightforward and unsophisticated instruments - but none the less will give you a feel for what ownership of a scope can do for your evenings!
