Wadhurst Runners

Wadhurst Runners is a small friendly running club and they are actively seeking new members. Runners of all abilities will be made welcome – from beginners wanting to run to get fit, to those who want to compete. Club runs are held on Tuesdays at 19:15 and Sunday mornings at 09:15 and a variety of distances and abilities are catered for. Anybody who would like to give it a go can either phone Chairman Albert Kemp on 01580 200 024 – or simply turn up on the day! The Club meets at the Uplands Sports Centre. Visit their website for up-to-the minute information.

The Club is represented in the Sussex Grand Prix Series of races, covering distances from 5 kilometres up to 20 miles. The club has participated with distinction in the series and we have a proud record of achievement usually finishing well in the year end league table. The Club also organises the hugely popular Bewl 15 each year - this year's event attracted a record entry of more than 550 runners from all over the country plus runners from Ireland and France
