WADHURST CRICKET CLUB

Wadhurst Cricket Club provides cricket for all abilities in a friendly, family oriented environment.

We run three Saturday teams, all of which play in the East Sussex League, and two Sunday teams that play friendlies. As well as the busy weekend programme there are a number of midweek games as well as our traditional weeklong tour. So we are always able to offer you a game of cricket when you want to play at the standard you wish to play at. The club is also strongly committed to Colts cricket and will be running both an U13s and U15s team this season.

We have two grounds. The principal one, which is at Washwell Lane in the centre of Wadhurst, now boasts a newly installed two-bay net facility. The ground benefits from a fantastic view over the valley as well as the unique atmosphere created by the traditional pavilion and bar. Food is served most Saturday evenings during the season and so it becomes a vibrant and friendly meeting place during the long summer evenings. The other ground is Cousley Wood, which, thanks to a Lottery grant, now enjoys a spacious high quality modern pavilion.
