The Priory Ticehurst House, set in 48 acres of gardens, is one of Priory’s leading independent psychiatric hospitals.  Located in East Sussex, the hospital consists of three units for people who are experiencing a range of mental health problems.  There are approximately 20 young people between the ages of 12 and 18 years and 30 adult in-patients including those in Ticehurst Grange.  We also offer both adolescent and adult out-patient clinics and day service.
We are looking to recruit two full time Occupational Therapy Assistants to work within our varied units.  The successful applicants will work alongside our Occupational Therapist to plan, organise and participate in a diverse and creative programme of activities and groups.  The programmes provided will be within both the hospital and local community; therefore a car driver is essential.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills and integrate with the multi-disciplinary team, which includes nurses, doctors and therapists. You will be integral in supporting the mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing of our patient.
