The Bull Inn was built between 1385 and 1425 and is reputed to be be one of the oldest dwelling places in the country, but only became a pub towards the end of the 19th century

Set in 4 acres of rolling Sussex countryside, and within easy walking distance of beautiful Bewl Water, the Bull is very popular with walkers, cyclists and fishermen
With a mass of small intimate areas within, this is the one place to come for an excellent range of real ales, including our own brand - 'Bulls Best' - and all the usual beers, ales and lagers

We also keep a fine selection of wines and spirits, and of course we offer tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Food too, is an important part of life here, and the delicious home-cooked dishes range from mouth watering freshly baked baguettes to a full a la carte menu

To find us - coming into Ticehurst from the west turn left BEFORE you reach the village sign; from the east go through the village and turn right AFTER the village sign
