The Best Beech is an old coaching house dating back to the 17th century. It is tucked away down Mayfield Lane in Wadhurst. The building has been totally re-furbished and re-opened on Feb 17 with a new bar and a new á lacarte menu - so come in and give us a try!

The Best Beech Inn is ideally suited for those wishing to explore the delights of the South East, an area often referred to as the 'garden of England'. So stay a night or two or just enjoy a drink or a meal .There is a car parking opposite the pub.

The Best Beech Inn has been at various times a butchers and an early petrol station. When standing outside and looking at the chimney you will see a Community Village Circle symbol, this signified that the inn was bicycle friendly!

How to find us - A267 From Royal Tunbridge Wells, through Frant, after approximately 5 miles turn left on B2100 at staggered cross roads signed Wadhurst. After approximately 2 miles the pub is on the right at the brow of a small hill.
