Polyphony - directed by Michael Fields, is a Wadhurst choir, formed in 1990 with the aim of performing a wide repertoire of choral music, ' from Bach to Beatles' .

Around 20 singers give 3 concerts a year, usually in the Parish Church, often with soloists and accompanied either by keyboard, strings or orchestra. We have recorded 5 live CDs.

The next concert is on June 21st. at 8pm.in the Parish Church. We shall sing Poulenc's Gloria and a varied supporting programme

We meet every Friday evening during term-time, from 20:00 until 22:00, in a private home. We are accompanied, at every practice, by a pianist.

We perform at least twice a year in Wadhurst Church in the summer and at Christmas time. In addition, we have, for several years, hosted a very genial supper party. in a private home. Members of the choir perform both by singing and the spoken word. We have also performed at numerous other functions, on request.
