Working together to share the love of God with those around us
United services, Lent study groups, Songs of Praise, Harvest lunch
and regular evening services

IAfter the heavy rain in April and early May, we are looking forward to a glorious June to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee! A special opportunity to enjoy God’s creation and worship together will be the Walk, Cream Tea and Songs of Praise Service on June 17th to be held at Towngate Farm in Tidebrook. Please tell the helpers at Carillon Cottage if you would like a lift. Full details of the event can be found on the advertisement in FOCUS. If the weather is inclement, we will have the service in a barn but we hope to be in the open air.  At the service, four members of our churches will be giving the reason for their choice of hymn. We are grateful for the Wadhurst Brass Band, who will be leading the music and a children’s choir from the Sacred Heart School, who will be singing.

Do you need to find a place for quiet for reflection and prayer? Worth Abbey in West Sussex organises different residential retreats where you can find quiet and guidance in prayer. Other events of Churches Together in Sussex can be seen on their website: www.churchestogether.org/sussex
