From the President
Songs of Praise. At the CTIW Forum meeting on 3 April it was decided that this year the Songs of Praise service on Sunday 18 May, in Uplands Main Hall should commence at 5.00pm. It will follow the usual pattern of testimonies, interspersed with hymns and songs led by the Wadhurst Brass Band and will be followed by tea, coffee, soft drinks, homemade cake, and a time for fellowship. The earlier time should make it easier for families who wish to bring their children and we hope to see a large congregation for this annual event. Our apologies that the time was given wrongly in last month’s Focus.

The Regular Evening Services are continuing to explore the distinctive characteristics of the various denominations represented in Wadhurst. In June the Rev Dominic Grant will be talking about the United Reformed Church and in July it will be the turn of the Salvation Army. In the Autumn we hope to be able to hear from some of the denominations not represented in Wadhurst. Watch this space!
